Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got engaged the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
